Wednesday 8th July

Just a reminder that we have a relaxed bridge session for the improvers this evening, and more importantly hopefully there should be air-conditioning which might be of interest!

Curry bridge 26/3/25

Our next curry bridge outing is to Oscar’s Inn in Newark again on Wednesday 26th March (6.30pm) with thanks again to Jackie.

It will be straight Chicago so no funny business from Dave, Pete or myself. Alan and Peter will have to behave themselves!

I am told Cash will be coming in specially to cook up some delicious curries.

Places will be limited to forty guests as Jackie can’t cope with the noise we all make!

I will be fleecing you all for £15 each, if you could please pay me by bank transfer. (First come first served) For those of you that don’t have my details they are :-

Mr Frederick H Myers

If you wish to email me my email is f.myers@levertonfarms.co.uk . Do NOT reply directly to this email or otherwise you get both Pat and Barry very excited!

Happy bridging,
Fred

Harrogate bridge break

Now I have recovered from both our Scarborough exploits and the curry bridge (many thanks to Jackie and her team) I am more in a position to sort out our trip to Harrogate next April 21st to the Old Swan Hotel.

I will need to start firming up numbers. Many of you have spoken to me informally and I’m afraid to say my brain is addled and I can’t quite remember who would like to come and who can’t!

I will then contact the hotel and ask about the rooms we will need. I can’t actually guarantee at this point that everyone will fit in, but I’m hoping that will be okay.

Please can you email f.myers@levertonfarms.co.uk or by clicking the link below, the one that says Fred! Otherwise you’ll have Barry and Pat pulling their hair out!
