The committee would like to thank all those members that took the trouble to send in comments on how the Individual competition was working over the last six months.
After much discussion the committee have noted that whilst the numbers taking part in the individual competition have gone up the overall numbers attending on the fourth Thursday have declined.
A number of changes were proposed and various alternatives considered but it was decided to return to the previous system for the next six months and review again how it is working.
We would again encourage as many members as possible to take part in this competition as it does encourage players to mix and to get to know one another better.
