As you will be aware, we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Bassingham Bridge Club this week. Our “Fun and Friendly” strapline and ethos has evolved over the last quarter century. It began with Barmy Bridge when some of our founding members played Bridge in rather unusual places in order to promote both the club and the game. Here are a couple of photographs from that era.
The first is in the centre circle at half-time at Sincil Bank. The second is in the middle of the A46/A17 roundabout at Newark! I hope to post a couple more before Thursday. Andy
