Raffle in aid of our on-course bird-box project.
Our golf course provides an amazing habitat for all sorts of wildlife and many of our nesting boxes are wearing out! We, as a section, are aiming to fund some replacements this year.
In the past 9 years more than 1000 baby birds have fledged from our boxes, including blue tits, great tits and robins. We have over 40 different bird species on the course including kestrels, long-eared owls, wrens, woodpeckers, thrushes and many others.
