Roy Hughes Memorial Charity Day

Hi All Members

The above event takes place at Hammond Hall on Friday 1st September. In past years this has attracted an entry of 22 tables. This is a large number of people to feed and water during the event. Coffee and biscuits are served on arrival, a two course lunch is provided half way through, with tea, coffee and cakes at the end. All this means that a large number of volunteers are required during the event to make all this happen. I ask Bassingham Bridge members to provide:

Vegetarian quiches (we need 120 portions in total)
Beetroot salad
Salad dressings
Chutneys
4 people to make 22 deserts each
Cakes
Biscuits

In addition to the above I also need 15 non-playing volunteers to fulfil a variety of roles during the day from kitchen duties to serving wines and selling raffle tickets. The more help I can get will make this event run smoothly and be a success.

Finally we require a variety of raffle prizes to be donated.

In past years this event has raised a large amount of money for a variety of local charities and we have a reputation for putting on a ‘good do’. Please consider what you can do to contribute this year, and get in touch with me to let me know.

Many thanks
