One method of ensuring fairness in Bridge is to seat pairs randomly. It is for this reason that Bassingham decided to issue cards on arrival. Would members please accept the card they are given on arrival and not swop for where they would prefer to sit. This negates the reason for having a card system.
If there is a health issue for remaining in the North or South seat then please have a quiet word with the Director who will do their best to accommodate you. If you pick a North/South card but would prefer to move then take the opportunity at the end of each round to move the cards to the next table. By doing this you will ensure that you move regularly.
