The committees of the Bridge Clubs that play in Bassingham have been exploring the possibility of providing a daytime duplicate session in addition to the Monday and Thursday evening sessions.
After much discussion it has been decided that we will trial such a session for three months on a Friday starting on March 7th. Initially the session will take place in the Tower room (lift available) at the Hammond Hall but could move into the larger Hall if numbers dictate.
The sessions will be led by Dave Williams and administered by the Heighington Committee under EBU rules but we welcome participants from both clubs and also from people outside the club who may be interested in such an session. Participants will become members of the EBU (no charge) and Heighington Bridge Club (5 Pounds Annual Membership) and table money will be 2.50 pounds per session.
If you are interested in playing during the day on a Friday please let us know of your interest. We are canvassing people as to which time of day suits best , mornings from 10.30am until 1.30pm or afternoons from 1.30pm until 4.30pm so let us know which you would prefer and if you have friends who do not yet play with us but you think could be interested please spread the word.
