Please be aware that this evening will be run as a “Gentle Duplicate” session that will allow some of this year’s students their first taste of Duplicate Bridge.
Six Students, each partnering an experienced player will participate and to make things a little easier for them we only intend to play 18 boards and their partners will be able to prompt them if they appear to be struggling as well as giving feedback after each hand.
Although the event will be scored and results published as usual, none of the results will count towards people’s averages and any slams made will not count towards the Slam Trophy
Please come along and support our students and give them a pleasurable first experience of duplicate bridge.
