The Preliminary rounds of the Knockout Competition have now been settled with Team D and Team F progressing. We are now at the Quarter Finals stage. These four matches are due to be played by the 1st December. So, Team Captains please get in touch with your team-mates and opposing captains to see if you can organise the next round.
We are now halfway through the Bridge year and as of today eight of the twenty league matches have been completed. Some teams are on target for match completion but others need to catch up. We appreciate how difficult it can be to organise eight people to get together for a match but Team Captains, please persevere and try to get your fixtures played by the guideline dates.
We are looking for a volunteer, not currently attached to a team to act as a substitute for a match due to be played on Dec 5th. (this is when we move to the Tower Room to accommodate the W.I.) You would be partnering Roger Baker and need to do nothing more than turn up, play bridge and enjoy the refreshments. If you could do that please see Roger.
